So its been an eventful spring break we started on Saturday with an Easter Egg roll and picnic with friends! Then we had Easter Sunday were the bunny came and hid the baskets and eggs. We enjoyed a great Sunday with Addison giving maybe her last talk in Primary(Boo-hoo). the girls helped as we made the yummiest Sunday dinner in a long time...with all the tradition yummy's but the best was this new dessert I made- I was a little nervous about it. we all love Chocolate dessert really is only good with it in it, or on it. And usually White Chocolate doesn't count (Well for Bob) but I hit a JACKPOT It was...I know your dying to know White Chocolate and lemon Mousse Parfaits with strawberries!! OH yeah we all licked our cups! then we began the week on:
Monday: Shopping with the girls day...Oh Bathing suit shopping with the girls "lots of tears day" but when we arrived home everyone had a new suit or swim cap/goggles and then it rained/hailed Tuesday-tee-hee! Lucky Thayne he got to play with his buddies!
Tuesday:This was "bring a friend to the movies free day"- so Hannah Montana watch out... the Merrill girls were on the lose. It really was a cute movie we all loved the cameo's of all the famous people and the cute cowboy she falls in love with -puppy love- we all loved that!
Wednesday:WOOOO Wednesday! This was today and maybe a little to fresh in my mind. It all began at 8:30 we left for the City. First we picked up a friend of Carissa's and headed over we scored on the carpool lane for the bridge but it took us 2 hours to go just over 35 miles YIKES! then never go to the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate park on FREE Wednesday!!! Searched for parking till 12:00 then we said DONE. we stopped at Ocean beach on the Cliff and took a picture and got some much needed, very windy, fresh air. We headed to Ghiradelli square for Lunch and ice cream- the kids thought we were lost, I had a headache and needed a Diet Coke. so we found parking right out in front, at great burgers at Lori's and wonderful ice cream at the chocolate shop, took tons of pictures and vists to the restrooms it was great then back in the car and wow only 40 minutes to get home.
More to come on our later adventures at the end of the week...It's spring break fun!

I LOVE "Excellent Adventures" and it sounds like you are having some fun ones. They will remember these fondly in a few short years. What's on the agenda for tomorrow?
