Picnic @ NetApp

A few weeks ago we headed to the South Bay for our weekly field trip (Oh the joys of summer) It was a great day at Dad's work...Emma got to go to work with Dad in the morning and then we joined them for the annual picnic. We got to eat at the new cafe in the new building that Bob works in. It was a great day, complete with a bouncy slide, putting green, sidewalk chalk, motor boats on the pond and dogs to pet (I told Addison "No we are not adopting a dog we already have one" ) The kids had fun in the photo booth too! The Girls got to audition for a new PBS show called Doof, no call backs so I guess they will not be making us any money yet! It was a great day with lots of happy tired hungry kids.

Swimming lessons!

Ok so we are on week 5 of swim lessons...Emma is off , she loves swimming and has figured it out this year...She can swim half the length of the pool-Free style! Thayne is in the water and finally loving it...today was monumental he jumped off the diving board 2 times! They are loving their teacher this week...Emma says she's Mormon!! She thinks that so cool. She is sooo good too! Hey Thayne's swimming after 5 weeks I wish I could give her a tip.

Here comes the Merrill family into the world of blogging

Ok so everyone under the sun has time for blogging but us so I thought we'd take a big step and start keeping in touch with everyone. With 4 kids I thought I'd never have time to do this now we have 5 and I guess I'll try it out. We'll see how it goes.
