Spring Break 2012

Easter April 2012
Newport Beach Temple

We began the fun with a Roaring Monster party for Colton with four of his friends.

The friends left and the Easter egg dieing started then we moved on to packing and picking up the rental car.

Next we started our spring break weekend adventure.
Thayne & Dad even got a little football in on the I-5.

Hotel destination "Newport Beach" with a outside tempature of 74 degrees.

Elevator and swimming pool, add in an ice machine and everyone is happy!

Off to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory with spumoni to top it off.

We had lots of car shots we spent a large portions of our time in the lovely rental car. the best part about it was the head rest button for the rear seat. lets just say it kept those lovely teenagers in line during the whole drive. Bob and i thought it was worth the smaller cargo space to have that lovely little button.

We spent a whole day on Catalina Island, first on the boat...

We found the Church...

Ate a little Mexican...too much Mexican!

Rented bikes

and a golf cart...

Played in the water on a paddle board

Emma took a spill

Then we headed back to the main land.

back on the boat with one asleep

the girls made some friends...some were boys!

We saw Grandma & Grandpa  for dinner

Grandpa's Burger had too much mustard.

We stopped in Brea for a visit to my Dad's resting place along with my grandparents.
It was a beautiful day.

Colton thought is was ok to use the tree...oops! I think  some  would be proud. I hope no one saw.

We ended the trip with breakfast in Corona Del Mar at our favorite bagel place and even better with the Hiatt's! They were on a weekend getaway to and headed for home.
Perfect we all set off to Simi Valley to visit the Ronald Reagan Library

Airforce One WOW!

The view on such a great day in Simi Valley.

We all headed to In-and-Out to top us off and head for home. So glad we got to visitt with our friends and family.

Colton is four today.

We have had a fun day for Colton, we began the day as always opening a present from Grandma & Grandpa before Dad leaves for work. A new blue shirt with a shark and a number four... perfect for the birthday boy's day. All day the birthday hat was worn to school, the grocery store, even in the car.

Oh yes my last. I am not to sure about her but some days i am glad to have 100 more days and others i wish it were ten days...what ever it is here is to the last 100 days of being pregnant in my whole life so I will  try to find all the happy things about it!
I can eat a ton,
take naps when I want,
have strong pretty nails,
cut my hair every 8 weeks,
and enjoy being chubby one more time:)

Now for the Prom queen!

Rhiannon , Keith  & Aunt Mandy came to dinner on Monday night we played basketball had Monday night taco night and ice-cream sundaes...yummy so good, so much fun. We haven't seen Rhiannon in forever and we didn't get to go to Utah for their wedding last July so we got to meet Keith, and welcome him to our family.  He is just wonderful and the two of them are super cute newlyweds. Now they are back to BYU for school..
