The First day of school!

Well summer is gone... I think this is the first year I really didn't want summer to be over. Bob said to me this morning "You did it , you made it through another summer" I did and really love having all my helpers home! and I'm A little sad that my little Carissa is in 8th grade, can't she be going to 3rd grade again...well here they all are ...As you can see Thayne was sad that pre-school starts next week!

Family vacation 2008

Wow what a great weekend we all got together with tons of cousins and lots of Fun!

We went to Running Springs for the 1st annual Family Reniuon Emily's side of the family. Bolton & Michelle hosted so we stayed in a cute little cabin in Green Valley Lake. It was so much fun 5 kids in the woods with dirt. It all stared at Neo's Pizza on Saturday night were we invaded the pizza parlor with 12 kids and 9 adults the kids had a great time running around the porch out side, then Church in Lake Arrowhead on Sunday morning, Bolton's Primary doubled with all of our kids it was great! We went for a picnic & walk at the Heaps Peak Arboretum,let the kids run wild and then tried to take a family picture...Ha ha ha. Then on Monday we headed to Lake Gregory were we played till it was time to go home everyone was water logged from water slides to paddle boards, The dirt at the lake sticks a little more than sand at the beach. We had a wonderful time with all the family and can't wait to do it again.

A few weeks ago we headed to the South Bay for our weekly field trip (Oh the joys of summer) It was a great day at Dad's work...Emma got to go to work with Dad in the morning and then we joined them for the annual picnic. We got to eat at the new cafe in the new building that Bob works in. It was a great day, complete with a bouncy slide, putting green, sidewalk chalk, motor boats on the pond and dogs to pet (I told Addison "No we are not adopting a dog we already have one" ) The kids had fun in the photo booth too! The Girls got to audition for a new PBS show called Doof, no call backs so I guess they will not be making us any money yet! It was a great day with lots of happy tired hungry kids.
