Do you want to add $8 and become a member?
We did! We went to Monterey Bay for Labor Day, it was great on the road by 6:30 am NO traffic at all. Arrived in Monterey buy 8:45 am it was absolutely beautiful, cool crisp and sunny. Stopped at Longs for batteries, and then we were off to the Aquarium! As we picked up the tickets at will call we were asked "do you want to add $8 and become a member?" Why not? We only live a short drive and September and October are always wonderful weather at the Bay. And better yet its a tax detectable "Donation". So here we are enjoying the fish then eating them at Bubba Gumps, and walking all over Monterey. We stopped at the beach to put our feet in, it was cold. It wouldn't be a Monday OH Fun with out a Merrill family adventure ride through Pebble Beach on the 17 mile drive. Then some shopping in Gilroy at the outlets. Did you know when you drive through the biggest Capitol of Garlic "Gilroy" it smells like garlic. Yummy.

We loved the seahorse exhibit! And were there deer grazing on the fairway when you took the drive?
I need to take my kids to the Monterey Aquarium someday! Travis and I went before the kids were born. Looks like you had a great day! I love smelling the garlic through Gilroy!!

Oh you make me miss Monterey. We just found out for sure that we are NOT going back to Monterey. Mixed emotions come with that info. Enjoy the Aquarium for me. We loved it so much!
