Summer is almost gone

Well we have had some adventures in August and can you believe we have pictures to so for some of them. We have paid a visit to Southern California, first the girls made it down on the airplane to see Grandma & Grandpa for a few days then I drove the car down with the boys which we did in 6 hours and 15 mins(it was a great drive down) Then we hurried over to April's house for some dinner and cousin play time. The 14 an up kids went to the dance (Carissa said it was fun and lots of cute boys) Addison dolled up Victoria and sent them off, she secretly wanted to go she is our dance machine. But she stayed with me at Grandma's Then 11o'clock came around and I had to pick up a teenager way too late after driving all morning and family bonding all evening. Bob took care of the dance here at home and then headed down for some more fun family time! I can't find any picture of this but we had a blast with Cathy & David Sunday night, Yummy food, David playing with the giggly 2 year old ( He has to be the best uncle ever) and girls laughing and giggling over Aunt Cathy, then dessert Grandma is the best! On to Monday we loaded up the Truck with our new (too us) dining room table and the "rocker" Plus the added bonus of family pictures and dishes. The trip was fast but then Bob said we were going to the beach for 2 days!!! I LOVE THE BEACH! We all got a little kissed by the sun , ate Taco's on Taco Tuesday, went for morning runs on Balboa Island, and did lots of window shopping. We headed home and felt refreshed and wished we could vacation once a month.

Just a few picture to capture the fun we had.

...then after all this we got ready for school and we are off to 10th, 7th , 4th and 1st grade in 2 days! Colton and I are ready for potty training and story time's. Plus getting my house back in order. the kitchen floor doesn't stay clean for more then 30 mins. Good bye summer.
