July has come and is almost gone

We had to say good bye the to Shelby this was not the best part of our month. It was probably the hardest thing I ever had to do! The whole family was sad, mad, depressed and we all kind of just really miss our dog! She was the best dog ever and we think about her everyday.

Carissa got to go to EFY in Provo this year. So she headed up a few days early and spent some time with the Hill Family! Too much fun was had and lots of pictures with BOYS! I think i might die, I left them out and just put a few of the girls.

We spent a week at Rucker Lake, this year we had tons of bugs and it was really warm so we spent lots of time in the water. It was wonderful, girls camp always is! Carissa and Bob went on a 30 mile hike which took them to 3 lakes and lots of snow. Addie went her first overnight hike to Blue lake with all her crazy 2nd year girls. And I stayed in Camp and ran the fun stuff we did all week. When I was a girl I loved camp and now as the Mom I still do. Those girls make me want to be better.

We had a fun month we still have our anniversary in a few days and 3 more swim meets to go! Minus missing Shelby we had a busy fun month of July. Now on to August and school. I hope next month slows down I don't want the kids to go back to school yet.

June. Too many things and not enough posts...

So we moved that is the biggest part of our month. We have said goodbye to our cute little blue house and after many years of waiting we said HELLO to our new big one! It has been very crazy, packing, moving, school ending and now the month is almost over and I am just getting to all the fun we have been having been up to the best part is we have rented the little blue house & I hope things will calm down this next week so I can start digging up my new yard. The weed pulling has made my hand ache. But we are loving it. so on to our June top Three:

I Also ended up making it through the Ragnar Relay in Utah is was so hard, so much fun, and I think I want to do it again, but bring Bob with me it's totally his kind of thing. I felt good for following through with my training, setting and achieving a goal and having fun with all my old and new friends! it was like a 3 day sleep over but in a Suburban. Fun don't you think? I LOVED IT!

Young Womens Recognition

Today was one of those proud parent moments. Carissa has been working hard on her Young Women's Personal Progress. Today she was recognized for completing her personal progress with a beautiful medallion necklace that has the temple spires on it along with a small ruby that represents the new value "virtue". We could not be more proud of what a wonderful young lady Carissa is becoming. She put so much thought and effort into her over 80 plus hours of goals and projects. She has grown physically in the past 3 years but it is the Spiritual growth that warms our hearts to know she is going in the direction we would want her to go. We love this little lady!
