Driving, raining, loving, & playing in a cast

We had a few events take place first Carissa pasted her permit test and now we are on to learning how to drive for the next 6 months YIKES!

After she passed her permit test:)

I got a little Valentines day treat! My hubby is the best I never expect anything yet ...flowers and candies are always present then we had a yummy night at our favorite Sushi place (which is not open on Monday nights but it was for" Valentines") and this year a L.V. purse was on the list. I 'm totally bashful about my new handbag. I'm  really not the flashy type. I have a friend that saw my bag and drooled all over it.. I guess I should hold my bag a little prouder just for her. My girls had to take a picture:) I think they love my new bag more then me....oh maybe not...I can't believe I broke down and actually put this on here. I was a good day for sure.
valentines day  I have the best valentine

rainy day fun
another is these rainy days....the kids love to play in the rain and the girls love photo shoots. Maybe I should have put them in modeling they think they are on the run way every chance they get it cracks me up. Carissa is always into my newest things those are my new red rain boots I got for my birthday. Bob says I should be happy she likes my things...I am but... I thought my sharing days were over when My sister move out oh maybe 20 yrs ago. oh well I borrowed her clothes last week for my hot date with my hubby...tee hee tee

those are my red rain boots!
And finally here is some new pictures of Colton we have one week down and 3 more to go with his cast. He was only down for about 2 days. Then he was off and running you'd new know his foot was broken. the only time he's down is on rainy days he can't go out and play or ride his bike.  Today I let him bring his bike and stroller in the garage/ house that was fun. then he found his boot:) all was well.

No more Monkey's jumping on the couch!

Just like the book says....One little monkey jumping on the couch he fell off and broke his foot!
Mama called the doctor and the doctor said: "NO MORE MONKEY"S JUMPING ON THE COUCH!"
after our x-ray
We spent a long night of keeping everyone happy and comfortable (because we didn't want to do the ER on Sunday night on a holiday weekend) we opted to stay home and take the first appointment in the morning. Only 3 hours start to finish. I said to Bob " why did that feel like 5 hours?" so happy to have Dad  off of work so I didn't have to do all this by myself. I got to leave the x-ray room and just listen to the screams from the hall way. He was crying due to the pink table "it was for girls!"
finally home and taking a much needed nap!
Colton wanted a red cast, thank heavens they had one.  He keeps asking to take it off.  But  after a happy meal (with a red car) yeah!  How did Mickey D's know that's what we needed? We have settled in for a short winters nap.

*Six weeks of a cast with  a 2.9 yr. old, lets hope it's off before birthday time.

Something to look forward too.

#1 A wedding here I think this is my happiest place on Earth!

#2 The beach for Spring Break!

#3 Taco Tuesday's on Balboa with the family

Today I got my 3 reasons to get back on the wagon of eating right and feeling better, oh and add some running into that. Becky posted on her Facebook that she has 11 weeks till she gets married. It was what I needed to get my butt in gear. Today I started off really bad cookies and hot cocoa for breakfast ( that was just my treat) I went walking and now I'm off to replenish the house with lots of fruits and veggies. I'm sure Becky's 11 weeks are much different then mine but here's to 11 weeks of being healthier and happier and looking forward to a great vacation in April! I am so glad I have such a fabulous niece to motivate me and that my girls just are giggling over her getting married!

*now I need to update our January events we did have a few outings with a camera...until the next nap time.
